Grub Customizer is a very handy program on Ubuntu-based distributions to customize the Grub boot menu (the operating system selection menu that you see when booting your Linux OS).
You can install it by applying the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
Once you launch the software, you will see a list of operating systems on your computer + available kernel versions that you can boot from. Basically, you’ll see whatever OS image that you can boot in the Grub menu:
Using the toolbar, you can either move these items up or down in the boot menu.
You can also set the default Grub boot menu item from this tab so that you directly boot into it automatically:
Don’t forget to hit the “save” button when you finish so that your changes are applied.
In this way, your Grub boot menu becomes customized to your own needs!
Hope you find it useful.
